Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Get Matching Tattoos Post Break-up
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson may have ended their hasty engagement back in October, the two are still throwing surprises our way. We watched as the singer and comedian seemed to get an unlimited number of matching tattoos with one another (it was only 5), and now they have gotten their 6th post-breakup. The ex-pair recently showed off black heart designs covering up matching tattoos dedicated to each other.
If you’ll recall, Davidson previously wore his heart on his sleeve, literally, when he tattooed ex-girlfriend, Cazzie David’s face onto his arm. Before proposing to Ariana however, he had the ink completely covered with an artistic portrait of a forest. At this point, the comedian joked about tattoos of loved ones basically being a curse to the relationship. “Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that’s how bad it is.”
Pete decided to do without the Playboy-inspired bunny ears mask representing Ariana’s Dangerous Woman album. Grande chose to do without Pete’s name etched onto her finger. Ariana is known to use black heart emojis as a signature online and recently gave a fan her reasoning as to why – she’s empty and her “heart is black now.”

Although less obvious of the relationship, the two have 3 other meaningful tattoos they may consider covering up in the future. A shared tattoo on their thumbs, “H2GKMO” (an abbreviation of Grande’s favorite saying, “Honest to God, knock me out”) has since been covered by Ariana with a feather.
On the backs of their necks, they share “mille tendresse” from the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. On Ariana’s ankle and Pete’s arm, they share “8418” in honor of Davidson’s father who passed in 9/11. And last, but not least, the two share a tattoo of the word, “Reborn.” During a comedy benefit show, Pete shared some jokes about his matching tats with ex-fiance.
“So, obviously you know I, we [Ariana] broke up or whatever, but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos,” he said. “And it was like in a magazine like, was Pete Davidson stupid? And 93 percent of it said yes.” He continued: “So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that s— man. They’re literally f— haters,’” he continued. “And I’m like, ‘Yeah f— that. I’m not stupid.’ And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.’”
