Abhay Awasthi’s Friend’s Anthem, Dosti, is Here!!

Singer and Writer Abhay Awasthi released another Rap Poetry, Dosti with Unfiltered by Koinage on 28th July 2021. The video has already garnered more than 250K+ views in just a few hours of its release.

Dosti is a Rap Poetry sung by Abhay Awasthi and Aditya Rohilla, and its music is composed by Mirasi Music. It narrates different relationships and facets of life, from time spent with friends in college to survive in the Capital.

Talking about the song, Abhay said, “The song is not just about normal friendship but is for the people who have been with each other through thick and thin. Dosti is my experiences and observations that I turned into lyrics or Poetry. I hope the audience will be able to relate to it and refresh their memories.”

Abhay Awasthi hails from the city of Farrukhabad in Uttar Pradesh. He was drawn towards Bollywood and wanted to pursue a career in acting. After his 12th standard, he shifted to the Capital to learn theatre. It was during the time of theatre when he started keeping an account of his thoughts in a diary which eventually turned into poems.

He, later on, created a show for Bol Haryana, Travel and Sound, dedicated to music, poetry, and traveling. Apart from that, he also released his first Rap Poetry, a genre where he fused two different genres into one, Gratitude with Koinage Records.
