Chitkabrey – The Shades of Grey might have been Akshara’s debut Hindi film but her first commercial Bollywood movie was Priyadarshan-directed Rangrezz which starred Jackky Bhagnani and Pankaj Tripathi.

Akshara Gowda made her Kannada debut in 2018 with the movie Premadalli. In 2019, she acted in another Kannada film Panchatantra. Akshara will be next seen in 2020’s Kannada flick Trivikrama.

While aspiring actors wish to share the screen opposite Ajith Kumar, the sexy siren has bagged a pivotal role in Arrambam without an audition. She took a long break after the film and travelled to the United States for pursuing a one-year filmmaking course at the New York Film Academy.

The icing on the cake was a two-month internship with Shekhar Kapur during the making of a pilot episode for TV series Damien.
