Blake Lively Birthday | who truly defines beauty with elegance

Blake Lively has us reminiscing about the good old days. Those memories took us back to New York’s Upper East Side every Monday night when “You know you love me” could be recited at the drop of a dime. Though it’s been more than a decade since the CW’s “Gossip Girl” aired, the show’s star is taking us down memory lane with her recent wardrobe choices.

Today, August 25, is Blake Lively’s birthday. The American actress and beauty icon turns 31 years old today and has managed to become one of the entertainment industry’s most famous faces during her nearly two decades in show business.

No stranger to Hollywood, Lively was born in Los Angeles to a mother and father who were heavily involved in the acting industry. Both her parents were determined to help her get a big break in show business. That came in 2005, when she was cast as Bridget in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”

The hit teen movie launched her into the fame stratosphere. She went on to star in dozens of critically and popularly acclaimed movies and shows, including  Gossip Girl, The Town, The Shallows, and All I See Is You.”

Lively is also married to one of Hollywood’s best known actors — Ryan Reynolds. The couple have two children together but are showing no sign of stepping out of the spotlight. With at least two films due out next year, we can count on seeing much more of Blake Lively very soon.

Lively, who celebrates her birthday today, was spotted last week in, let’s just say, an elevated version of the Constance Billard School for Girls uniform that we got used to seeing Lively wear as Serena van der Woodsen in the fashionable TV series.

These days, it looks like Lively has learned to swap her yogurt and black boots for Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Stuart Weitzman heels. The actress turned heads in the colorful patterned suit by Bottega Veneta. “Good thing I’m not asked to design school uniforms,” she posted on Instagram with a photo of the outfit. “They would be very EXTRA.” Something tells us, her “Gossip Girl” counterpart Blair Waldorf would approve.
