Today, August 25, is Blake Lively’s birthday.The American actress and beauty icon turns 31 years old today and has managed to become one of the entertainment industry’s most famous faces during her nearly two decades in show business.
No stranger to Hollywood, Lively was born in Los Angeles to a mother and father who were heavily involved in the acting industry. Both her parents were determined to help her get a big break in show business. That came in 2005, when she was cast as Bridget in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”
The hit teen movie launched her into the fame stratosphere. She went on to star in dozens of critically and popularly acclaimed movies and shows, including Gossip Girl, The Town, The Shallows, and All I See Is You.”

The actress turned heads in the colorful patterned suit by Bottega Veneta. “Good thing I’m not asked to design school uniforms,” she posted on Instagram with a photo of the outfit. “They would be very EXTRA.” Something tells us, her “Gossip Girl” counterpart Blair Waldorf would approve.
