Demi Moore reveals threesomes led to divorce from Ashton Kutcher
Demi Moore has made several startling revelations in her book Inside Out. Along with sharing a near-death experience, she also accused her ex-husband Ashton Kutcher of using their participation in threesomes to “justify” his infidelity.
Stories from Demi Moore’s memoir, “Inside Out,” continue to trickle out ahead of its Sept. 24 release — and, well, no wonder Ashton Kutcher is off in the hills of Jordan.
Demi, who is 15 years Kutcher’s senior, was married to him for 8 years before they called it quits in 2013. In her memoir, Demi said that she regretted the two occasions that the couple had “introduced a third party” into their relationship. She added that Kutcher used it as an excuse to explain him cheating on her.
In an extract from the book that was published in The New York Times, Demi Moore who was earlier married to Bruce Willis, wrote that being with Ashton, was “like a do-over”.
“I could just go back in time and experience what it was like to be young, with him much more so than I’d ever been able to experience it when I was actually in my 20s, she wrote, adding she went along with the idea of threesomes because, “I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be.”
Later, Ashton was accused of cheating on Demi with Brittney Jones and Sara Leal. Demi said that he tried to explain it away by using the threesomes.
“Because we had brought a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’d done,” said Demi.
In the memoir, Demi Moore also wrote that her marriage to Ashton became to disintegrate, after she had a miscarriage and had to use Vicodin and alcohol to cope with the loss.
Demi Moore opens up on near-death experience from combining drugs
Demi Moore also opened up about her near-death experience from a bizarre drug concoction in 2012. The actor was having a bash with daughter Rumer Willis who was 23 at the time. “Did what other people were doing: sucked in a hit of nitrous oxide, and when the joint reached [her] … took a puff of synthetic pot (it was called Diablo, fittingly),” she wrote in her book, Inside Out.
Demi had a seizure after combining the drugs, according to Radar, who has the excerpt from the book. Also, she described having an out-of-body experience, cited Page Six.
“Everything went blurry and I could see myself from above. I was floating out of my body into swirling colours, and it seemed like maybe this was my chance: I could leave the pain and shame of my life behind,” wrote Moore.
At the time of the incident, Demi Moore had recently parted ways from ex-husband Ashton Kutcher and was estranged from her other two children, Scout and Tallulah, as well as ex-husband Bruce Willis.
Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital and the situation drove a wedge between her and Rumer for more than a year, Radar reported, as cited by Page Six. The upcoming memoir of the actor also lists two threesomes she had with Kutcher that she later regretted, as well as his alleged infidelity. “I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be,” she said in the memoir.
Kutcher and Demi Moore called it quits in 2011 and were officially separated by 2013. Kutcher is now married to Mila Kunis; the duo has two children.
According to UsWeekly, Kutcher was prepared for the revelations and “had a heads-up on what is in the book. He’s not mad or disappointed.”
