Dhvani Bhanushali Recreates Shreya Ghoshal’s Leja Leja Re

Dhvani Bhanushali is all set to release her first solo single. The young singer created a huge stir with her previous outings with each song topping the charts. Now, she is all set to take us back down memory lane with the remake of the iconic single of Shreya Ghosal —Leja Leja Re.

The number will feature Dhvani and has been shot in Alwar, Rajasthan. Recreated by Tanishk Bagchi, the lyrics have been penned by Rashmi Virag. Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru held the directorial reins. “Keeping the beauty of the old song, the makers have given a modern touch to the video with fresh beats to song,” says a source close to the development.

According to Spotboye.com, Dhvani’s father Vinod Bhanushali says, “I am so happy. But I also want to cry. It’s a very big day for me and I really can’t describe my emotion clearly. I am getting reminiscent of the day she was born and I first held her in my arms. God has been kind and I hope things go as per the plans.”

So what’s the plan? Vinod says, “I love and respect all singers of our country. But I think we still do not have a rockstar. The plan is to make Dhvani a rockstar. And I really want to thank Radhika and Vinay for giving such a good product in Leja Leja Re that there is ample scope for marketing it.”

Radhika–Vinay say, “We have made several pop songs and their videos in the past, but soon moved over to direct movies and film songs. It was since past few months we thought of exploring the idea of making a pop Song again… as we really believe the time for solo singing artistes is back. So when we heard the recreated version of our own hit song Leja Leja Re by Tanishk in Dhvani’s voice, we were pleasantly surprised and must say, super impressed.

The original song Leja Leja Re was shot by us with the music legend Ustad Sultan Khan and the response we received that time was overwhelming. We had to do justice to that. We have tried to make an amalgamation of old and new with this track with super talented composer & singer team of Tanishk & Dhvani and we are delighted with the result.”
