Divya Khosla Kumar was born and raised in Delhi. Right from her childhood, she aspired to become a director. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a teacher. She moved to Mumbai to pursue her career. She started her career as an actress in 2004 from the film Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo.
The film starred Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachan, Bobby Deol, in lead roles. The same year she appeared in Tollywood film Love Today. She took a break from acting and then did a course editing and cinematography. Divya then directed the music videos for Tulsi Kumar, Agam Nigam, and others.
She also directed a few advertisements. During this, she directed over 20 music videos and then made her debut as a director in 2014 from the movie Yaariyan. Not only this, but she also choreographed 5 songs in Yaariyan. Later, she directed Sanam Re and produced Roy that starred Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. In 2015 she was also seen as the cover girl of AsiaSpa Magazine.
It was in 2006 when Divya appeared in a Hindi pop song, Honey Honey opposite Salman Khan. It was sung by Kunal Ganjawala and Roop Johri. In 2017, she appeared in the music video that was the remake of ‘Kabhi Yaadon Mein Aaun’.
The song was sung by Palak Muchhal and Arijit Singh. In 2003, she did the same music video, that was sung by Abhijeet. Recently, she was featured in another music video, Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi. The song was sung by Neha Kakkar.
Divya Khosla Kumar Personal Life
Divya Khosla Kumar is the wife of Bhushan Kumar, son of late Gulshan Kumar. The couple got married in 2005 at Maa Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. They met on the sets of Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo and then started chatting.
After a few months, the couple started dating and fall in love. Bhushan also invited her family to Tulsi Kumar’s wedding in Delhi. After that, her parents agreed and they finally got married in 2005. The couple is proud parents of a boy Ruhaan.
