Mehwish Hayat alleged girlfriend of India’s most wanted Dawood Ibrahim

Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat is in the news right now for her alleged links with terrorist Dawood Ibrahim. A Pakistani web portal has reported that the sudden success of the actress Mehwish Hayat could be attributed to her closeness with a Karachi-based “powerful person” who is very close to the ruling Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

It can also be noted that only a few days ago, it was Prime Minister Imran Khan of the PTI who had denied the presence of Dawood on Pakistani soil.

India’s most wanted terrorist and 1993 Mumbai blasts mastermind Dawood Ibrahim lives in a palatial bungalow at Karachi’s posh area and he is in regular touch with several actresses of Pakistani film industry, according to DNA’s exclusive report.

Dawood’s relationship with Pakistani film industry came to light in 2019 when a small-time Pakistani actress was awarded the ‘Tamga-e-Imtiaz’, a big civilian honour in Pakistan.

The name of this actress is 37-year-old Mehwish Hayat. Interestingly, Mehwish was not a known face until a few years ago but she has now become a popular face of Pakistan’s media and glamor industry.

The Pakistani web portal that has made the allegations against her has argued that Hayat didn’t have enough achievements that could justify this honour. The award has apparently made her a household name when she was very less recognized before it. If the news turns out to be true, then it’s apparent that Dawood still maintains strong links to the Pakistani film industry.

Reports have also claimed that Mehwish got opportunities to work in several big projects due to her proximity with an influential person from Karachi, who is none other than Dawood.
