Rajinikanth fans get married outside Chennai cinema hall
Rajinikanth has brought Pongal cheer for his fans with his new film Petta, which released today. Fans always go the extra mile when it comes to showing their love for the thalaivar, but this time, a couple went a little too far to prove that they are the true fans of Rajinikanth.
Petta has clashed at the box office with Ajith and Nayanthara starrer Viswasam. The film is the fourth collaboration between director Siva and Ajith, and revolves around the life of village chief, who is adored by his people.
Earlier today, a couple in Chennai got married outside the Woodlands Theatre to celebrate the release of Rajinikanth’s Petta. A stage was set-up for the couple where the ceremony took place. Food was also distributed to the fans, who had gathered in the theatre to watch the film reported Zoom.
Expectedly, the mood outside the cinema hall was celebratory as fans played music and danced to show their excitement for Petta. The film, which has been directed by Karthik Subbaraj, also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Simran, Trisha, Mahendran, Bobby Simha and Guru Somasundaram.
Petta is also the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is playing an antagonist in the film.
