Ranbir Kapoor meet Mahesh Bhatt to seek permission to marry Alia Bhatt?
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt seem to be going strong with their relationship, and want to take the next step in their life. Their marriage reports have been quite a buzz. Although the couple has not spoken about it a lot, their wedding reports have been constantly making rounds on the internet.
To add much to the excitements of Alia-Ranbir’s fans, the latest report suggests that the actor went teary-eyed while asking Mahesh Bhatt for Alia Bhatt’s hand in marriage.
The rumors fueled up about their wedding being on cards when the reports stated that the actress met Bollywood’s ace fashion designer, Sabyasachi for her wedding lehenga. Interestingly, the reports also stated that the actress has already ordered her wedding lehenga.
As per the latest reports in Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir recently met up with Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and asked his permission to marry his adorable daughter.
It is also being said that the moment was very emotional as Ranbir asked Alia’s hand, which left everyone teary-eyed at that moment. However, the actors have not made anything official yet about their wedding.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s last visit to New York again gave birth to rumours of them tying the knot after the Besharam actor’s father Rishi Kapoor’s return to India. Rishi shifted to New York last year for his cancer treatment and is almost better. Another report also said that Rishi Kapoor might return to India to celebrate his birthday as he is tired of living there in the “concrete jungle”.
In a recent video uploaded by Alia Bhatt on her YouTube channel, the actress revealed that she has RK (Ranbir Kapoor) on her speed dial list.
Meanwhile, on the professional fronts, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently gearing up for their first-ever movie collaboration-‘Brahmastra’.
Also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, the film is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji. The much-awaited period drama is slated to hit the screens next year in the summers. It is said be the first in a 3-part franchise.
