There is so much to see in India and I urge all Indians to first travel within India: Aneesha Madhok

Actress Aneesha Madhok, who will soon be seen in Hollywood film “Bully High”, feels lucky that because of her father Vikram Madhok, who runs Abercrombie & Kent, a luxury travel company, she was able to see the whole of India. Upset with the ongoing pandemic, which has affected India’s tourism industry badly, she has urged the citizens to take a tour within the country first before traveling abroad.

She said, “I am using my platform and influence to not only promote travelling in India but also to build a deeper connection with my homeland. As much as most Indians love fleeing to the UK during our hot Indian summers perhaps due to the remnants of colonialism, I am all for travelling within north of India to enjoy the cool breeze and the mountains in the summer and I love staying in the south during winter.

There is so much to see in India and I urge all Indians to first travel within India before they book that ticket to travel outside of India. Like they say ‘know yourself before you know someone else’, similarly, I feel that we should connect with our roots before embracing other countries.”

A fluent in seven languages – English, Farsi, Spanish, Hebrew, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi with a hint of Greek – Aneesha has traveled over 30 countries. But she said, “I am looking forward to seeing the economical boom India shall experience in terms of its hospitality and tourism.”

“My father was behind the Incredible India campaign, and I want to propose the importance of being an ambassador for travel in India for generation z and I am really excited to explore my incredible India. Punjabi kudi is ready with her bag pack!” she concluded.
